On the other hand, I've heard a lot of people (and not necessarily people who I'd expect to be fans of his) talk about how much they loved Zeitoun. Either one of those could be a good place to start.Miss Bibliophilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09433318219707424076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6398386242806301174.post-87692262212542882932012-10-17T14:26:47.383-04:002012-10-17T14:26:47.383-04:00I'm part of that rare group--never read Eggers...I'm part of that rare group--never read Eggers! Although it's probably also frustrating to see poorly written but popular books fly off the shelves.Miss Bibliophilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09433318219707424076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6398386242806301174.post-33484146255191856362012-10-16T15:58:40.405-04:002012-10-16T15:58:40.405-04:00I have never read Eggers! I really like optimistic books - they seem few and far between sometimes.<br />This novel has not done well at my library. We always have tons of copies on our new books shelving and it isn't popular at all. I attribute that to the cover - it is not attractive!Anbolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10080054175904900094noreply@blogger.com
