Book Printing

I'm in the market for some art to group on the wall of my reading nook. For obvious reasons, I wouldn't mind if one or two pieces had a literary theme. Here are some contenders that I've come across so far:

A print that has its priorities straight from The Black Apple

A simple and sweet book lover print from The Book Fair

More book love by Rosie Music

Polka Dots in the Strand by Sophie Blackall
(which I own, so it actually will be in the book nook)

A bookster that features text from a classic novel on a large scale poster.

Taking the same concept one step further, Postertext uses the text from a novel to shape one of its iconic scenes, like this one from Gatsby.
(Don't you just love that they included a little green light in the distance?)

A literary map of Britain.

And last but not least, a charming "teatime" print (complete with a book, of course) by artist Yelena Bryksenkova.

Which one is your favorite?

  1. I love every one of those posters. If I had to pick one it would probably be the one from Postertext.I think that tiny green light just makes it.

  2. These are great! I love the first one - the quote rings true for me! I am always amazed by how good writers can capture the essence of life - every time I try - I fall very short of the mark.

    Hope you are well,

  3. My favorite is Polka Dots in the Strand...Love it! I also like the literary map of England, but the first one is good too... I could get hooked on book posters so easily. I used to love the Children's Book Week posters, and one of my friends got me a book with many years of book week posters in it. I love them all!

  6. Cool! I also have Sophie Blackall’s Missed Connections book. Her artworks are amazing! It makes the story look real. And this piece is just one of my favorites. It’s pretty romantic, isn’t it? #Imogene Meis
